Trees are natural contenders to sequester carbon in efforts to mitigate climate change. Of course, carbon is released into the atmosphere during production and maintenance of trees. So, at what point do trees become carbon neutral?

Researchers led by Dr. Dewayne Ingram at the University of Kentucky set out to discover the answer for trees in the urban landscape.
