Anemone ‘Dainty Swan’ PPAF

During the past 12 years, since Anemone Wild Swan appeared to be so promising, the breeder, Elizabeth MacGregor of Scotland, has been developing variations now included in the Anemone Swan Series. This non-invasive hybrid blooms from June to late October. It features large semi-double white/tinged pink flowers with deep pinkish/red banding, standing on striking dark maroon stems. This deer-resistant perennial excels in partial shade to sun in Zones 4-10. It grows to 22 inches high.

Salvia microphylla x greggii Heatwave Breeze PP#29845

Salvia Heatwave Breeze produces mass displays of large fragrant flowers, violet-purple with slight pastel throat, accented on a dark calyx. The foliage is a lovely emerald green. Breeders Howard Bentley and Steve Eggelton of Australia purposely crossed S. microphylla forms with S. greggii varieties to develop a new range that excels in their dry, very hot climate.
