Agastache ‘Crazy Fortune’

This new agastache is crazy in a good way with variegated leaves which emerge in shades of green and purple. The foliage is also fragrant with a licorice/anise type fragrance. Blue-purple flowers appear July to September and are food for bees and butterflies. It has an upright habit reaching up to 32 inches in height and 20 inches in width. Use it in the landscape border or in a patio container.

Buddleia High Five Purple

A dense plant, High Five Purple (‘PODCEPT1’) is covered in plump flower spikes bursting with double, purple flowers. They appear spring through fall and attract butterflies and beneficial insects. Most importantly it is considered non-invasive as it produces little to no seed, and any seed that might appear doesn’t sprout.

Diervilla Honeybee (‘Diwibru01’) has a compact and bushy habit with striking bright yellow foliage. The abundant flowers make it a magnet for both bees and butterflies. Echinacea ‘Sweet Sandia’

Terra Nova Nurseries hasn’t been as excited about an echinacea introduction since the first of the Echinacea KISMET series. Echinacea ‘Sweet Sandia’ has single, broad-petaled flowers that look like slices of watermelon. It has a compact habit and the plant’s numerous flowering stems have made this one of Terra Nova’s most sought after plants in years. ‘Sweet Sandia’ has a uniformity that makes the clonal variety easier to schedule and sell. It is destined to become a consumer favorite. Its hardy in Zones 4-9, and it has a foliage height of 19 inches, foliage spread of 16 inches and a flower height of 24 inches.

Prunus Jade Parade™

We see this as a plant that may give landscapers a fresh perspective on mass planting groundcovers. The foliage is an attractive glossy blueish-green, turning shades of yellow, orange, and red in the fall. Spirea Little Spark™

With all the problems with Spirea ‘Goldflame’ reverting, First Editions® Little Spark™ (Spiraea japonica ‘Minspil04’ PP30,819) will be the perfect substitution with an even more compact habit. This little spirea has orange new growth and holds its yellow foliage color throughout the summer, even in full sun situations. A summer bloomer, the pink flowers arise just above the foliage, and if you give them a quick shear when they are done, it will bloom again in late summer.
