Emerald Coast Growers launched a mobile website.
"Nearly 90 percent of smartphone users access the Internet on their handheld, and a quarter of them say they most often use their phone, not the computer, for the Internet," said Cheri Markowitz, ECG sales manager.
As part of the new development, the company has also created a QR code that gives smartphone users immediate access from their mobile device.
Hines Growers LLC is partnering with Breederplants, a Dutch breeder/grower consortium, to introduce new proprietary plants from Europe to the United States and open European markets to the Bloomtastic! brand and Hines Growers' new proprietary genetics. Joe Gray, vice president of Hines Growers, said the partnership ensures that gardeners throughout the U.S. and Europe will see exciting new introductions every year.
