Electric scooter
Oxygen World Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxygen SpA in Padova, Italy, is now distributing its electric battery operated Oxygen CargoScooter in the U.S. Oxygen CargoScooters are recharged from a simple electrical outlet and can save up to 90 percent on energy costs versus fuel-powered scooters. The scooter can be equipped with options in using two, three or four batteries, where distances of 75 miles on a single charge can be covered, and acceleration will enable the vehicle to get to 25 mph in 6 seconds. It features a cargo capacity of up to 200 pounds, and a trailer can be added. Since it uses no fuel, it’s pollution-free, and repairs are a non-issue due to its limited number of moving parts. Mole trap
Sweeney’s has introduced the Deadset Mole Trap. The new trap is extremely easy to set, thanks to an ergonomically designed, easy-to-grasp handle and a patented triggering system. The Deadset trap is triggered by the slightest underground movement, effectively driving the spears into the ground and killing the mole. Before setting the Deadset Mole Trap, irrigate the area to bring the moles food source (earthworms and bugs) up close to the surface where the trap will be placed. The next step is to locate active tunnels. When setting a mole trap it is important to make sure the spears can move freely through the ground when the trap is triggered. READER SERVICE #57
