• From Rocky’s Plants in Elgin, Texas: Being a small business owner can be a real headache. Some days you wonder whether it is worth all the hassles, stress and hard work, and then in a blink of an eye you realize you are making a difference and bringing enjoyment to someone else.

Upon opening my mail, I was surprised to find more than 20 thank you letters for donated tomato and peppers plants from Ms. Upton’s class at Elgin Elementary School.

Keep up the great work young gardeners! I’m proud of you!
