Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hokomathyst' Everlasting Amethyst
The Everlasting series features mop heads with a variety of colors, handsome foliage and sturdy habits. These hydrangeas got their start as strong-stemmed cut flowers, but they have proven to be outstanding plants overall and garden hardy.

Bred by the breeding team at Kolster, BV, in The Netherlands, the Everlasting series combines the bold blooms of cut flowers with the long lasting qualities of a gift item and the hardiness of a shade-loving garden plant all in one. This is an extremely versatile series that goes from gift to garden. Plants grow 3 to 4 feet high and up to 4 feet wide. Amethyst's large fuchsia pink mop head blooms age to a lime green, and flowers from May through June. It's hardy in Zones 4-9.

Coreopsis 'Sweet Marmalade'

The stunning flowers of 'Sweet Marmalade' open deep orange-red, mellowing to soft apricot-yellow through the season. It's accented by bushy mounds of mid-green, narrow, linear foliage. A sport of 'Creme Brulee,' its mixed shades of orange and yellow are reminiscent of orange marmalade, the staple British treat. 'Sweet Marmalade' flowers from summer into early autumn. Its tidy habit works beautifully in the garden or container. It's hardy in Zones 5-9. 'Sweet Marmalade' grows to 10 inches high and 20 inches wide the first year.
