Redpointe maple
Redpointe maple (Acer rubrum ‘Frank Jr.’ PP 16769) is a remarkable new shade tree from J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. that combines the refined form and foliage of the best A. rubrum cultivars with the urban tolerance and faster growth rate of A. freemanii. Rich, dark green summer foliage, brilliant red fall color, pyramidal street tree form and well-behaved, balanced growth (to a height of 45 feet and spread of 35 feet) make Redpointe maple an easy-care tree in the nursery and on the street. It offers improved disease and insect resistance, heat and drough tolerance and adaptability to urban growing conditions.

Rosa ‘Munstead Wood’
This repeat-flowering English old rose hybrid from David Austin Roses has approximately 74 petals. The flowers are light crimson in the bud which becomes a deep, velvety crimson while the outer petals remain lighter in color. They are of a large size and cupped at first, becoming shallowly cupped with time. The growth is quite bushy, forming a broad shrub with good disease resistance. The leaves are mid-green, the younger leaves being red-bronze to form a nice contrast.
