SBI Nursery Software offers s SBI Production Management software that manages the production process from propagation to sale by using recipes growers set up in a simple Excel-like interface for the entire process. The software allows users to set quantities and ready to sell dates using previous sales figures (including lost sales) to forecast production for the season or the year. The software’s Simple Plan Screen enables growers to set up specifics on each crop with total quantities planned for the year broken down by ready date or crop. A purchasing section gives the user the ability to manage purchasing of seeds, plugs, or cuttings for the recipe laid out. Adorn fungicide
Ornamental growers have a new tool for fighting downy mildew, Phytophthora and Pythium. With a new, novel mode of action, Adorn fungicide from Valent Professional Products, is an excellent addition to fungicide rotations and plays a key role in resistance management programs when used as part of a tank mix. It is available for use as a spray or drench in nurseries and greenhouses. Adorn is a new chemistry featuring the active ingredient fluopicolide. Packing Pearls
