Auger
General Equipment Co. introduces its line of TCT Series augers for heavy duty drilling projects. These new augers work with General Equipment’s full line of DIG-R-TACH hydraulic earth auger attachments, as well as competitive models. The TCT Series comes in 36-, 48- and 60-inch digging depths and 6- to 36-inch diameters. For maximum compatibility all models are available with 2-inch-round, 2 9⁄16-inch-round, and 2-inch-hexagonal auger drive connections. This allows them to attach to popular models of skid loaders, mini excavators and tractor/loader/backhoes. www.generalequip.com
Brush Chipper
Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, the new high-capacity, towable Toro BC-25 brush chipper can go practically anywhere an operator needs to work. The BC-25 is engineered with a gravity-feed system that includes a 23-inch by 20-inch feed opening, 6-inch capacity and two single-edge cutter blades. The Kohler Command Pro CH25 V-Twin engine with heavy-duty centrifugal clutch on the BC-25 quickly turns piles of brush into piles of fine mulch. The BC-25 is designed with a patent-pending mulching block that is crafted to prevent jams.

Compact Track Loader
Terex introduces its newest compact track loader models: the PT-100G and PT-100G Forestry. The largest compact track loaders in the Terex lineup, these new models offer operators a 14.6 percent increase in tractive effort in low gear for more pushing power and a 32 percent increase in horsepower to the attachment. These models boast a class-leading 99.9-hp engine and 310 lb-ft of torque, the most in the CTL industry. The cooling fan blades will automatically adjust to provide optimum airflow while minimizing engine horsepower consumption. These newest Terex loaders have an operating weight of 11,400 pounds, a tipping load of 8,000 pounds and a lift height of 125 inches. www.terex.com
Skid Steer
John Deere introduces a two-speed option to its mid-frame 318D and 320D skid steer loader models. The new option, which will be available by year’s end, increases ground speed by as much as 62 percent on both manual and E/H controls machines, from 6.8 mph to 11 mph. It’s engineered to provide a second gear for a variety of work. Shift on-the-go capability allows operators to kick into higher travel speeds with a simple flip of a toggle switch on the left-hand joystick. Electronically controlled shifting allows for seamless transition during upshifts and downshifts. The 318D and 320D are part of Deere’s customer-inspired D-Series skid steer line, featuring 24-percent-larger cabs and six more inches of headroom than their predecessors. www.deere.com
Tree Spade
Dutchman has introduced its new Hook-up Mount design, which was created without pushing the center-of-gravity farther from the tree spade itself. The valve body and trouble-shooting circuit board can be tucked safely behind the hook-up plate. This further protects these instruments and keeps them free from branches and obstructions. A top-mounted “Dutchman” cover plate can be removed to access the valve if it needs service. A step mount has been added to aid the operator when climbing in and out of the loader. www.dutchmantreespade.com
