Money does grow on trees

Pennsylvania-based Eaton Farms to offer another Tree Rebate Program for garden center partners

Eaton Farms' 2009 Tree Rebate Program was so successful the nursery's management team has decided to do it again. With the purchase of every Pennsylvania Pride tree, consumers can fill out a rebate form and mail it in along with proof of purchase to receive anywhere from $10 to $20 back per tree (depending on quantity purchased).

John Spotts of Eaton Farms said the Tree Rebate can be a silent salesman in the garden center. "It helps you increase retail sales on a high-margin item," he said. "The program is very easy. Eaton Farms will handle all the paperwork."

The Tree Rebate Program marketing kit includes 500 Rebate Vouchers, two voucher distribution boxes with stand, two banners (2-feet x 4-feet and 4-feet x 8-feet), your garden center name promoted on PennsylvaniaPride.com, and artwork/graphics to be used in your direct mail, newspaper, and e-mail marketing. The vouchers may be distributed via direct mail, garden shows or in your nursery yard.
