Breeder introduces yellow primrose

After 11 years and eight to nine generations of plants, breeder Lynne Dibley of Dibleys Nurseries in North Wales has released the first commercially available yellow-flowering primrose. The cultivar ‘Alissa’ was exhibited for the first time at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May.

‘Alissa’ is multi-branching and very free flowering. It can flower for 10 months of the year. It is named after Dibley’s 11-year-old niece.
