IPPS Eastern Region plans 2021 Annual Conference

Attendees can join virtually or in-person at The Morton Arboretum, Sept. 28 to Oct. 1.

The International Plant Propagators Society-Eastern Region has planned a unique Annual Conference, in which attendees can take part in two ways. There is limited capacity for in-person attendance at the event itself, which takes place Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 at The Morton Arboretum, near Chicago, Illinois. Or you may attend virtually from the comfort of your own home or office.

Due to limited spacing, registration for the in-person conference is only open to IPPS-ER members through August 15. After August 15, all may register.

Here's a brief rundown. September 28: Welcome reception after touring on your own. September 29: sessions, video tours of three nurseries, lunch and breaks. September 30: sessions, video tours of two nurseries, in-person tour of The Morton Arboretum, lunch, breaks, and banquet and auction. October 1 includes admission/parking at the Chicago Botanic Garden and an in-person tour. Attendees will have access to the video recordings of the conference for six months after the program. Typically tours would be on a bus, but this year's program does not include transportation.

If you choose the virtual option, the pricing is $199 for members, $349 for non-members and $25 for students. Virtual attendees can watch the educational sessions and video tours on September 29 and 30 through your own device. Sessions will be videotaped and broadcasted live through Zoom. Videos will also be made available for your viewing for six months after the program.

Zoom links and helpful conference information will be sent to the email address provided at registration.
