Now in its 11th year, the Proven Winners Horticulture Scholarship program is accepting applications from both undergraduate and graduate students.
Scholarships range from $2,000 to $5,000 with options for both two- and four-year programs.
At least three four-year university scholarships will be awarded in the following areas of study:
- The Ushio Sakazaki — Proven Winners Plant Breeding Scholarship: Awarded to students who are committed to developing new and exciting plants in this competitive market.
- Proven Winners Innovations in Horticultural Marketing Scholarship: Awarded to students with not only a passion for plants but also for knowing how to market and sell them.
- The Rick Schoellhorn — Proven Winners Grower Excellence Scholarship: Awarded to students pursuing careers in producing high-quality plants.
Five two-year or post-secondary institution scholarships are also available to students who are enrolled full-time in an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada studying horticultural science or related fields.
