Sakata Seed America officially announced their participation in the 2021 California Summer Trials event, Wednesday, June 23 – Sunday, June 27, in 2021.
“Sakata is happy to announce our participation in the 2021 CAST event, and look forward to hosting an array of industry partners, media and customers who may have previously been unable to make the trip to California in the spring timeframe,” says Joe Cimino, director of ornamental and solutions business groups for Sakata.
In 2020, most businesses have adapted to industry events accordingly by adopting a more digital-focused approach. Moving forward, Sakata looks forward to increasing its digital footprint and promotions to reach a broader audience, even when in-person events can be held once again.
“With the change in timeframe, and all we’ve learned about digital engagement this year, expect to see some exciting updates to our traditional layout and approach to the CAST event. The Sakata team is already hard at work to showcase our new genetics and other product offerings, including our Sakata Solutions® line of premium Baltic substrates, in new and innovative ways,’ says Cimino. “These fundamental event changes align well with the introduction of very promising new genetics we’ve had in the pipeline for some time; we see this as a great opportunity to push these key drivers in unique and expanded ways.”
Sakata Seed America plans to announce their 2020/21 new introductions that will serve as the focal point of the CAST 2021 event in early 2021. For questions regarding Sakata’s CAST participation or further inquiries, please contact the team at flowers@sakata.com.
