SePRO Corporation announced today at the GCSAA Conference and Tradeshow the introduction of its new solution for pre-emergent weed control, StriCore herbicide.
Known for its innovative products, SePRO’s introduction of StriCore herbicide is the first unique pre-emergent herbicide introduced in over a decade in the turf and ornamental markets. This new tool helps to combat weed resistance, effectively tackling tough-to-control weeds like goosegrass, crabgrass and Poa annua.
StriCore is gentle on both warm- and cool-season turf types, giving peace of mind to start the season weed-free regardless of geography. Healthy turf comes from healthy roots, and since StriCore does not prune roots, it won’t compromise the plant’s root system.
“Our customers are always on the lookout for innovative and reliable weed control options, and SePRO is excited to introduce a novel solution to the market," said Casey Zeller, SePRO Turf & Ornamental Portfolio Leader. “StriCore is not only unique, but directly addresses the challenges customers face with goosegrass and weed resistance."
StriCore herbicide is expected to be available for purchase beginning in October 2024. Those interested in learning more about StriCore should visit StriCoreHerbicide.com and sign-up to be a StriCore Insider to receive exclusive access to product information and updates.
